We should make it a law that everything needs proof of legal status, buying groceries, paying bills, paying to get on the city bus, everyone should carry their birth certificate or their green card. You don't have it you cant' buy milk. Then illegals will get the picture, or die from starvation either one. problem solved.

LOL how ironic. I said the same thing the other day, but not with that point of view. As an American who happens to be of Salvadoran descent, I was asking my family how long before they make us carry our birth certificates? What is this Nazi America? This "protect our borders" crap is fueled by racism and nothing else. If it was white people coming to this country, I don't suspect there would be such an uproar. Go back to the trailer park. You are what's wrong with this country!

The Biggie is employment. Enforce standing labor laws, for a change, and the whole situation will largely dry up, and blow away. I support educating US kids in US schools, and if people really really wanna go help some foreign country, such as Mexico, that can be done with direct investment and volunteering, doing stuff like building hospitals etc in the country where they're needed.
Legal immigration is a 'go', illegal immigration is not. It's that simple...

I believe that if that happend, robbery would go up. Also, people(Illegals) might start growing food at their homes instead of buying produce, thus hurting the industry. Something needs to be done, but so far, i have not heard any decent solutions from the conservatives or libbies.

This would never happen and would not be effective. Friends of illegals could do all that for the illegal. Employers need to be hit hard and benefits should be taken away from all illegals. Being born to illegal parents should make the child illegal.

Sorry, too extreme for me. I do think they need proof of their citizenship to enter their children in school....I don't believe in anchor babies...that needs to be reckoned with.
Also, to begin services such as gas or electricity. Of course, they could get legal friends to cover for them...but if they didn't pay, those same "friends" would be left holding the bag.
No more drivers licenses without proof of citizenship....
No more major purchases (homes, business, ect) without proof...and NO MORE BANK ACCOUNTS without proof of citizenship.

what your proposing is just about the same, it was also job related.
a mother goes to a grocery store to buy milk for her infant, what no green card or papers? let the infant starve to death! i want my job!!!

i don't think its a death penalty offense, but not a bad idea. watch out for the ACLU though. they will see that as an infringement of rights, like the right to break the law.
