Personally, I need contradictors so that I get rid of what is incoherent in what I believe in.

Then, I only keep the "core" I need to feel inside, my "faith".

How about you?

Contradictors definitely help strengthen my faith... when I hear their arguments I go and research it and find the flaws in their arguments... it helps me study and learn how to defend the faith.

Logical arguement about religion is good for everyone. It helps dispell the dogmas we were raised with, and to base our beliefs on facts.

I was raised as a Christian. I grew up knowing what I believed, but not why I believed it. Specific discussion allows you to research certain points and understand why something is true.

And sometimes, I've had the opportunity to get rid of inaccurate baggage. Things that I believed, things I thought I knew have been disproven. Those things get dropped and your beliefs become more clear.
