does this mean that he is going to be a large cat? or does it not even matter at all. oh, and how old will my male cat be when he finally stops growing? I have a 2 year old female who is a fair size cat already so I think she is done growing. but does his paws have any bearing about how big he will become. he is fairly big for a five month old I think. if you have any suggestions please answer. Thank You!

Probably will grow into those paws and be a big kitty! I have one who had huge paws as a kitten. Now he's long enough to "stand up" at the kitchen table and he looks like a bear rug when he's stretched out!

It is normal for a cat to have large paws. It all depends on the kind of cat and the desendents of the cat. Also check and see if you cat has 6 toes. Some cats are born with 6 toes I have a siamese that has 6. It is nothing to be concerned with. It's not like a dog where the paws say how big they will become.

The size of the paws a are usually a good indication of how big the animal will be at adulthood, unless it is caused by some irregular genetic disorder. Cats usually reach full adult size by about 1 to 2 years.

I thought that cats were usually full grown by 1 year old but some other answerers disagree with that.

Look for extra toes, My cat has has 6 toes which is common with Russian Blue's. This just makes him really good at catching flies, or hairclips on the floor. It is no concern, just enjoy em!

you can ask your vet when you take him in about the paws, kittens usually are done growing around 8-10 months or so.

Not really a suggestion.
We used to have a cat that had 3 extra pads on all of her feet.
When she ran anywhere she went sideways.
