It's not that they're saying it completely wrong (but not completely correct either), it's just that when it comes to something as important as this they care more....right?
here are some diffrences for example:
David = Daoud (pbuh) (pronounced Da'wood)
Jesus (pbuh) = (pronounced Eï 'ssa) etc...
I'd dare the world to prove me wrong if you're doubting it...
So "How come people from the west civilisations don't call the prophets (pbut) by their original Arabic names?"

The names of the prophets were translated into Greek, then Latin then English, French or Spanish. Is it any wonder that they became corrupted? Also, they were made more comfortably pronounceable to their own tongue.

Because they are not Arabic in origin. They are original Hebrew or Aramaic. They then went through Greek, Latin, and German before they came to us (in English).

Because many of the prophets weren't arabic? Because we speak English? Because it doesn't matter to us?

probably because the whole bible was translated into our language, including names. most american people wouldn't know how to pronounce their names properly. and does it really matter? a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet!

Probably because their "original" names were not arabic, they were hebrew. I don't know what "david" is in hebrew, but I believe Jesus was Yeshua.
