I flatiron my hair a lot, I curl it a lot, and I do so many more things to my hair. Well I have a special hair type to where if I do protect it it won't do any damage. It's always soft and pretty or silky plus it is thick. That is God given. I protect my hair just in case. I use Dove soft and silk or something like that. It comes in a little squirt bottle for creams. It is an anti-frizz leave in conditioner spray The name of it is written in purple. It protects my hair against anything I dish out at it. It always leaves my hair soft and silky and non frizzy. It is the best I have ever used.

Hope it was helpful.

It is not recommended to use a flat iron everyday. It is very bad for your hair. But hey... Sometimes I do it very often. So if you are going to do it, use a ceramic iron versus a metal one. Helen of troy or hot tools makes a nice one.

Also if you use a round brush with bore bristles you get a smooth straight look and it is not as damaging to your hair.

Corrective hair serum by zero frizz. It works well, it seems to cut out the frizz and improve the condition of hair.

Have you ever tried blow drying your hair with a round brush?

I used to use a flat iron everyday and my hair got really dry, frizz and started breaking off..... So, I tried just blow drying with a round brush and I have now eliminated using my flat iron completely. My hair is now healthy and shiny and I haven't had any problems :)
