a red blood cell disorder is a condition where there is something wrong with the red blood cells in someone's blood.

The most common types are forms of anemia, where there is a lack of proper red blood cells or haemoglobin. An example of these is sickle cell anemia, where cells take on a sickle shape which damages the cell membrane and can become stuck in blood vessels, depriving organs of oxygen.

I don't know what you are asking? Of course there are red blood disorders. Lots of them. Sickle Cell Anemia, Anemia (low iron in the red blood cells), ITP (don't quite know what that stands for but I have a friend that has that and he has no red blood cells and very low platelets). I would go to a doctor or do research on the net and see what is out there. There are many different types for different nationalities.

Sickle Cell Disease is a hereditary blood disorder that affects the oxygen-carrying component of blood, the red blood cell. In other words, it is manifested by diseased red blood cells that have a sickle shape.

Red blood cells have proteins called hemoglobin. Hemoglobin transports oxygen from your lungs to every part of your body. When a normal red blood cell (with normal hemoglobin) releases its oxygen, it maintains its discoid shape.

However, when a diseased red blood cell containing sickle hemoglobin releases its oxygen, the appearance of the cell can change from discoid to sickle-shaped.

This is to say that the sickle cell shape is caused by the sickle hemoglobin within a particular red blood cell. Possible health problems may include fatigue, breathlessness, rapid heartbeat, delayed growth, susceptibility to infections, skin ulcers, and vision problems.

This is the short list. I am sure there are lots more.
