If you and your best friend like the same guy/girl,but only like(find his/she attractive,hot,cute,etc)no... love involved,would you compete over that person or just leaving it to your best friend?

my friend only likes a guy cuz he's hot and doesnt even know him
and she wants him even tho i do care about him
and i have for the past 7 years
and she still wont back off just cuz he's cute.
so if u care about ur friend
just back up
cuz a cute guy isnt worth it
there are plenty out there
(unless she doesnt care for him either....if she only wants him cuz he's cute, then fight fire with fire if u want)
