i need to know more info on the sword. Just some Random facts on the sword. i would profur some new information (new as in like year.) who ever gets it will get 10 points

That depends on what type of sword you are researching. Each style of sword has a history nearly as rich as an individual country. Some examples are dao, katana, gim, and wakizashi to name a few. Beyond that, you have weapons with blades on the ends of them like a kwan-dao or spear.

On the iberian penensula during the time of the roman empire the people who lived there used a sword called the "falcata" by later scholars. it was a single edged weapon with a forward curve like a kukiri which allowed the sharp edge of the blade to strike its target when the torque from the wielder's swing was at its peak. This allowed the falcata to pierce the armor of that period with relative ease. The forward curve also made the weapon difficult to parry against, as the blade was always forward of where it would be if it was straight. The falcata is belived by some to be decended from the greek "kopis" and before that the egyptian "khopesh". There is argument that the falcata was also influenced by the knives that the european celtic tribes used during that period.
