It depends on who is getting married and what type of wedding they are having. I don't care for the long full mass weddings in churches. I love the small intimate weddings with a fun reception/party afterward. I have been fortunate that those have outnumbered the long boring ones!

Yes, I enjoy going to weddings. It is a happy, romantic time and often you get to see people you haven't seen in a while. It is also good to see reaffirmation of the hope of a long life married to someone you really love.

I like weddings if I feel like the couple is a great match. Nothing is worse than sitting through a ceremony and reception for hours when you're thinking..."I give this 2 years, max, to last...". I hate when the couple seems fake about the whole thing.

Well weddings I think are special. I personally would enjoy a wedding if its someone i love like friends, family (the closest people to you) i think you will their weddings, however if its someone you don´t really know it might not be as entretaining!
I personally like going to weddings of people that i truly care i think its an honor to be in one of the happiest moments of someone you really care about !!

Not really... they depress me because I'm 41 and haven't found anyone yet. Sure, stop looking and love will find you. That was about thirteen yrs. ago and I've been alone ever since--well, except for my cats. Is that sad or what?
The last girl I tried to get to know turned out to be a lesbian which I explained to her that I was too but she still wasn't interested.
All my cousins (9 of them) are married and I've been to all their weddings. They always ask when I'm getting married and I get even more depressed. :( Are you happy now? I'm bummed.

I hate them, they are always so formal and too long. That's why my husband and I had an informal one this past June. It was the only wedding I ever really enjoyed.

no I don't, there are so many phony people there, drunks..And the way marriages go to day..a wedding is the death of your freedom..Now don't get me wrong I am married to the best gift God ever gave me, we have been married for 47 years on my birthday this August 31, but it has not always been good. and that's what the matter with kids to day, its get rough in the marriage and instead of working it out, they find someone Else and fall into bed with them, and their in love.....That's why I hate weddings it does not last...... sad...

I love going to weddings. I like to see how it was all put together, the dress, decor, music etc. The receptions are the best part. Good food, music, and dancing.

Weddings can be fun but it depends on who's getting married, how well I know them, etc.

If am close to the couple then I'm all for it, if I'm not then I look for any acceptable and believable excuse not to go. The only crappy thing about doing that is that I still have to give the gift and I didn't even get to eat!
