What is the world coming to or descending into?

Question

Tsunamis, earthquakes, terror attacks, war, crimes against women and children, holy people sinnning etc are all becoming a regular thing.
Is it god giving up on us and trying to end his mistake called humans or is satan here just having a laugh at gods expense and we are living in 'kalyug' (dark times)

I was born into the Hindu faith, but do not practise any religion at the moment.

I am also not specifying just this day and age - i'm just stating that the world is surely not meant to be like this?

Matthew 24:6-8, Matthew 24:29-31, and Mark 13:24-27 PRIOR TO and AT the Sixth SEAL -

The world is presently at Matthew 24:6-8 (below). Immediately after the tribulation of these days that we are presently witnessing, the world will face the Sixth SEAL (Matt.24:29-32, Mk.13:24-27, Re.6:12-17 below)


Matthew 24:6-8

Matt.24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Matt.24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Matt.24:8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.


Matthew 24:29-31

Matt.24:29IMMEDIATELY AFTER the tribulation of those days (Matt.24:6-8 above, Lk.21:9, Mk.13:7) shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken (Re.6:12-13 below, Lk.21:25, Isa.13:10):

Matt.24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Mk.13:26, Re.6:16 below, Lk.21:27).

Matt.24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other (Mk.13:27 below).


Mark 13:24-27

Mk.13:24 But in those days, AFTER THAT TRIBUTION (Matt.24:6-8, Matt.24:29 above), the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Mk.13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

Mk.13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory (Matt.24:30 above, Re.6:16 below).

Mk.13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven (Matt.24:31 above).


The Sixth Seal

Re.6:12And I beheld when he had opened the SIXTH SEAL, and, lo, there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood (Matt.24:29 above, Acts.2:20, Joel 2:31);

Re.6:13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth (Matt.24:29 above), even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Re.6:15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains (Isa.2:19, Isa.13:7-8);

Re.6:16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of HIM THAT SITTETH ON THE THRONE (Lk.21:27, Isa.2:19), and from the wrath of the Lamb (Re.6:17 below):

Re.6:17For the great day of his wrath is come (Re.6:16 above, Joel 2:31, Jer.30:7); and who shall be able to stand (Lk.21:36)?

Oblivion. What you missed out is the incalulable devastation to to ozone layer by commercial flights all across the globe (especially when there is such thing as ultra secure video conferencing)

I looked outside my window yesterday and the sky looked cloudy but there wasn't a single cloud in the sky ------ it was all contrails (exhaust fumes) from airliners


This world has passed the point of no return with half the animals on earth to be extinct by 2020 and the prospect of world war III. What a fantastic job human beings have done on this planet. One day humans will desroy themselves and insects will once again reign on earth

The great religions which guided people on just how to live their life with God and their fellow man are failing, and being taken over by fanatics.
This is because the world is dividing into people who live their life with spiritual ideals and with love and compassion, without the need to go to church and be told they must do this; and those who worship money and material objects whilst casually dismissing the feelings and needs of their fellow human beings.

The great cycle of life and death is about to end and those that have rode on this wheel of life and have learned that love and truth are what is really important will move onto the next stage of lessons and learning in a school that will not be made of matter.

This, our present school is now old and crumbling. I expect it will be demolished ( not literally ) and a new school rebuilt in its place.
Those that still practice greed and lack compassion will begin anew, in this new school, complete with a totally unspoilt habitat, where de-forestation and strip mining have not been thought of, until the next great wheel of life turns full circle with space exploration, spiritual thinking and materialism. This will continue until everyone has learned and can move on, leaving a pristine Earth behind; for God will abandon none.
Who knows how many "advanced" civilisations Earth has been host to over the years? Atlantis?
The south american ruins over 12000 years old, put together with micronesque precision?
The egyptians with the remains of power cells found in ruins and sarcophagii which appear to have been made with power tools?

do not fear for the future, the future will take care of itself and God will take care of you.

Its true that all these bad things have occured throughout history and people have allways feared the end of the world to be iminent.
However never before in history have we had the weapons capable of wiping us out. Never before in history have we done so much damage to the enviroment, so much so that we are changing the weather patterns! Never before in history has there been so many people alive on earth, so much riches and so much poverty.
If people dont change there ways we are in deep ****!
Why? Because people will end up fighting over the few resources left, there simply wont be enough to go round.

Everything is OK and like it always is. You have no idea about all the wars and terrible things that the media chooses not to discuss. There are so many bad things that happen around the world that are hidden and never told but recently we hear alot of crap about Israel and the middle east because it is a part of the world that matters to everyone.

If I may quote the Lord Jesus from the Gospel of Matthew 24.6-8.
"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT ALARMED; FOR THIS MUST TAKE PLACE, BUT THE END IS NOT YET. For nation will rise agains nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: ALL THIS IS BUT THE BEGINNING OF THE BIRTH PANGS." Now to understand something about the difference between how the ancients Jews thought of this passage and how we in the West think of it is to review our sense of time. Let us begin with the West. We commonly think of time as linear and fixed. Therefore, the passage can have more of a sense of doom and gloom. All the events SEEM to move in a singular path and is fixed. Any who hold to this obviously would not see the world improving because what begins as a small problem in the past snowballs into a crisis as it moves along through the years and centuries. Hence, the modification of your original question which I highlight with bold letters, "What is the world coming to OR DESCENDING INTO? So, with a linear sense of time one would have no hope of seeing an end to our present situation.
However, this passage from Matthew was an encouraging and hopeful statement to the Jewish/Christian people. The reason why is that they do not see or understand time as linear. They understand it as a progression of ages until God redeems all unto Himself. And so, as each age ensues it goes through its "birth pangs" until the ages are perfected. It is a purification of time and all within it, but such things as our troubles must first be purged before considered purified. And so, we must go through these things to reach perfection in God.
Now this is not to give anyone an optimistic view of life. Our situation is tragic and frightening. But it is not everlasting. I do not offer optimism for it is shallow, but I offer hope which is fulfilling! All the pain and tragedy we experience is to give us hope for what we have all desired since creation; a God, peace, and freedom. Hope in that brother. As the mystic Julian of Norwich is fond of saying in her meditations, "All is well."

There is a balancing act of Energy. 4+ also generates 4 (minus) so that sum total of Enegy always remains zero & Constant.This is as per law of Energy. Human beings want +ve things without negativity & this is impossible. So there will be good & Bad times happening cyclically in this maniofested world bcos it is its nature.
