what is a good dog name for a golden retriever? what about a yorkshire terrier? for a girl and boy

I love doggynames.com. They have a great little database where you can choose from movie star names or drink names or famous people names. I think that each personality has to be considered on a case-by-case basis so that a shy dog doesn't end up with a name like John Wayne . . . and a more aggressive and high energy dog doesn't get stuck with a name like Precious. I think that the name depends much more on the personality of the dog rather than the breed. Good luck!

awww my neighbors had a golden and her name was daisy. she was the best dog!
i also like reilly for a golden.
as for a york.
well, my brother's is bentley and we know one in our puppy class that's name is harley. also, i like fun names for little dogs, like miss ellie or mr. tibits.
have fun picking your name!!! it also helps to get to know the dog for a little bit. that's how we settled on our dog name. plus, we used things that interested us.
our chocolate lab's name is sawyer brown b/c we both enjoy reading (tom sawyer) and we both love the band OAR and they have a song called Mr. Brown.
