I think it works great if you only have one to two cats. I had an experience with an automatic litter box at a time when I had a total of four cats--lets just say it couldn't keep up with their production. I had more than one litter box but only one was automatic and for some reason the cats were in love with it so they all used that one. It got pretty nasty and had to be emptied several times a day. I switched back to regular litter boxes after that.

I bought one many years ago and it worked okay. The waste was scooped into the little plastic container each time a cat used it, and there was less to clean. But the smell was still an issue. I don't think there's a valid solution for that. Also - if you have more than one cat, even the larger size won't be big enough. We had two cats, and they overloaded it every day. Order as many of the plastic containers as you can afford when you buy the machine. If you run out, it's a drag. And it will use a lot of batteries.

I really no longer tried that. even if, we had small dogs and how we educated them develop into to have them sleep in a small, constrained area (laundry room labored properly for me). The domestic dog did not verify on to make a tremendous variety the position he'd be sound asleep, so he'd ask to flow out. we may do treats and concerns. It develop into least confusing a topic of time previously than he requested to bypass out each and each and every time he had to bypass potty. we've carried out this with 2 dogs, one develop into once a grown canines who had lower than no circumstances been suggested. We had tried some different approaches to no avail. This labored like a attraction. after we gained our new domestic dog, began out in this mindset from the installation. He develop right into a wise little element and amassed on it very right now. best sturdy fortune!

We've bought two of them and they have both broken for us. One of them flung poop across the room when it was cleaning. It made more of a mess than if we had just cleaned it up ourselves. The disposable liners will be an added cost too. I wouldn't recommend buying it, but I had other people tell me so and I still went out and bought it.

no, but if it is one of those automatic cleaner litter boxes, don't waste your money on them if they spook your cat just once they willl never use it again. best to stick to the regular box and scoop out the litter yourself much easier

why do people get cats and not be willing to clean the litter box?

feed a better food and you get less poops in the first place

scooping is very important because first signs of most illness show up in changes in the poops so you will catch problems quicker

dont waste your money on a dumb gimmick
