You won't get into National Geographic with just this. They have a huge list of photographers on their pay-roll that they use, that they've been using for years.

Now, let me offer you some good advise.

Check out different stock photo companies. Sign up for one or two of them and use them. Enter all your images as the more you have, the more chance someone will buy your image.

Are pretty good (so I've been told). Another options is to build your own gallery online and advertise that. Try selling through your own site this way there aren't any additional fees and you can sell at prices you want.
