All religions are man made psychological manipulation.
A way to control the masses with religious dogma. Better to be spiritual and believe in God than to force a man made religious practice down someones throat "just because" you think your way is the only way and if you don't practice what I practice then you're "less" than I am.
Marry whoever you want within morality. And when the children are old enough let them choose what religion "if any" they want to become. It's as simple as that!

YEs, but most times it causes conflicts, Like if you worship on Saturday (the True Sabbath) and she worships on Sunday then maybe she wants to do something on the Sabbath that is against your belief and then she starts to cuss about it and it grows from there.
Sometimes it works out if they are both loving and understanding towards each other.

You don't (in most religions). However, a non Muslim man is not allowed to marry a Muslim woman (its a territorial thing I guess). Of course, if the Muslim woman converts to another religion it becomes apostasy and she gets killed.

You can, but some people aren't willing to. In order to have, say a Catholic wedding in a Catholic church, you both have to be Catholic. If you have strong ties to you church and your soon to be doesn't, wouldn't that indicate issues to come? That would suck. I am so glad that my husband has no such issues.

tecknicaly you can but it could course conflict. I was assured by a muslim he could mary a christian in fact the quran sugests it. muslim women may not marry other than muslim men but apart from that as the time got closer and I tryed to learn about his faith he put more and more pressure on me to become muslim.

Trust me. It's better to convert. My step-father makes this annoyed face when me and my mother talk about our religion. He doesn't really want HIS children to learn such "nonsense" . o.o;
I wish he'd respect our religion!

I agree. Unless one of the partners is intent on indoctrinating the children they have together.

it depends on the church and on the person you are going to marry. some churches require this. if that is the situation, simply find a church that doesn't. if it is the fiance who insists, then find someone else!
