Well don't know your health history, nor your age. However, if you are a young person and in good health it may be either that you are dehyrated, meaning drink more water, gatorade, powerade, and not go out in the heat of the day. You may be having heat exposure or heat exhaustion. So stay as cool as you can............or you could be having an inner ear problem or many other things that can attribute to dizziness. So if it has been awhile that you have been for a good checkup, I would go. If you can relate it to, a new medicine, not enough fluids, etc, then that's probably what is happening. Take care of yourself!!!!! Good luck! If you don't find you have any physical problems, then the next thing is to take a look at your life, what is happening or has happened right before you got dizzy? Did you have an argument with somebody? Memories of something set off? May be anxiety............then you'll want to go to a good therapist to talk it out, find out the root of the problem. It works, trust me!!!

I'm not a doctor, but I have often had the same problem. It could be an inner ear infection, or it could be something more serious. Definitely see a doctor if you have the ability-and give as much information as you can about your symptoms (esp frequency). Not to scare you, but dizziness is a symptom of MS-and MS is more common than you might think.
But, they will probably do a series of tests on your blood to look for more common illnesses. Definitely go see a doc though.

You may be dehydrated. You could also have low blood pressure. Are you pregnant? It is possible to have sincope episodes when you are expecting, get up too fast, etc.
I'd start by increasing your blood volume by adding a few glasses of water (not juice or soda) to your daily diet.

a couple of other answers gave you a list of possibles, they were a good list, i have had a viral labyrinthitis infection for last 10 days, my gp says its very common just now. do you feel sick? pass out etc if your dizzyness is lasting more than a couple of days you really should see a GP, if its what i've got there are tablets that really can help and it should't last too long.
