You don't have to do drastic dieting,,but if you want to loose a lot of pounds in a hurry,,,go on a all salad and fruit diet,,,eat as much salad as you want,,with fruit for desert,,,and light dressing,,,,,it sounds like a major diet,,,but you can get your fill to eat,,and the weight will fall off....believe me!!! Also,,diet sodas and water,,,working out can help,,but can also make you much hungrier, causing you to eat more.

Hi there. this question is asked by thousands everyday.Remember that it differs from person to person, some people loose weight much faster and easier than others(lucky them! lol). Consistency is the key here, my partner is using a 'vibro shape' device that i bought her almost 2 years back. she is drinking a meal replacement shake once a day. after 3 consecutive weeks she lost a few inches off her waist, her belly is much flatter as well. I have seen numerous times on the web that these 'body wraps' seems to work good. What i suggest you do is to do a google search and find a healthy diet (that is not so grooling lol) to follow. try and exercise everyday, if you are familiar with a skipping rope it would do great for a start and its small and convenient for traveling. There is so much products on the market to choose from, but don't complicate it for yourself. 1. Follow a diet. 2. Find a good weight loss product with positive reviews( moreniche has great weight loss products) 3. Exercise. 4. Be consistent! don't give up! Be committed!

When I'm dieting to lose weight, my goal is to workout an hour in the morning before work (usually yoga or something toning) and an hour in the evening after work (usually walking briskly/jogging or an aerobic video)...for 5 days a week...on day 6 and or 7 I might rollerblade for fun or do some activity, but not make it TOO strenuous because the body does need R&R time...
Also, just cut your calories a bit (no need for "drastic dieting" and that will help...make your portions a bit smaller, or skip that second helping, or leave off one soda or one helping of "junk food" that you might have otherwise had...
Good luck!

Combine strength training with daily aerobic exercise. Here's an example:
Every day, do dumbbell bench presses and dumbbell squats, three sets of ten. You don't have to go for max weight, you want to maintain form all the way through every rep. These compound exercises will work multiple muscle groups. Forcing your body to rebuild muscle tissue will help burn fat.
Add to that a daily routine of riding a bicycle. You don't have to go for speed or distance...just put in reasonable effort and build time each day. Start at 30 minutes total...which is really easy: Ride away from your house for 15 minutes, then turn around and go home...that's 30 minutes total. Keep building your time as your body allows. Eventually, you may have time and endurance to ride for a total of 2 hours or more...if your schedule allows.
The two combined will strip off fat very, very quickly. If you were inclined to modify your diet (just cut out refined sugar and simple carbs like bread, rice and potatoes), you'll accelerate the loss even more.
Hope that helps...it's worked for me.

Major cardio 6 days a week for 45 - 60 minutes each day. Do weights with the workout every other day. Weight loss and tone will be the results. Drink 10 glasses of water a day without fail.

Do exercise when you're hungry. I saw something recently that said you lose more fat when you exercise whilst hungry. You will really need to control calorie intake as well as exercise in reality. However, I'll let you look at this from Wiki:
!!!!STRAIGHT FROM WIKI BUT HAS IMPORTANT STATEMENT ABOUT WEIGHT LOSS VERSUS EFFECTIVENESS OF EXERCISE!!!
Physical exercise (with an example)
Physical exercise is an important complement to dieting in securing weight loss. Aerobic exercise is also an important part of maintaining normal good health, especially the muscular strength of the heart. To be useful, aerobic exercise requires maintaining a target heart rate of above 50 percent of one's maximum heart rate for 30 minutes, at least 3 times a week. Brisk walking can accomplish this.
The ability of a few hours a week of exercise to contribute to weight loss can be overestimated. To illustrate, consider a 100-kilogram man who wants to lose 10 kilograms and assume that he eats just enough to maintain his weight (at rest), so that weight loss can only come from exercise. Those 10 kilograms converted to work are equivalent to about 350 megajoules. (We use an approximation of the standard 37 kilojoules or 9 calories per gram of fat.) Now assume that his chosen exercise is stairclimbing and that he is 20 percent efficient at converting chemical energy into mechanical work (this is within measured ranges). To lose the weight, he must ascend 70 kilometers. A man of normal fitness (like him) will be tired after 500 meters of climbing (about 150 flights of stairs), so he needs to exercise every day for 140 days (to reach his target).
The minimum safe dietary energy intake (without medical supervision) is 75 percent of that needed to maintain basal metabolism. For our hypothetical 100-kilogram man, that minimum is about 5,700 kilojoules (1,300 calories) per day. By combining daily aerobic exercise with a weight-loss diet, he would be able to lose 10 kilograms in half the time (70 days). Of course, the described regime is more rigorous than would be desirable or advisable for many persons. Therefore, under an effective but more manageable weight-loss program, losing 10 kilograms (about 20 pounds) may take as long as 6 months.
There are also some easy ways for people to exercise, such as walking rather than driving, climbing stairs instead of taking elevators, doing more housework with fewer power tools, or parking their cars farther and walking to school or the office.

Boxing or kickboxing with bags (to add resistance). Each workout can burn up to 800 calories and it tones all areas of your body.
