A motor that has been converted to run on LPG, wil get better gas mileage, plugs last alot longer (due to a cleaner burn), oil change interval is longer, and I believe you actually get more power.

The downsides is lack of adequate filling stations and the fact that your car smells like a rolling BBQ pit.

Nope. Actually the reverse is true. With no liquid fuel washing down the cylinder walls the engine will last much longer, typically twice as long or longer. Oil change intervals can be extended by at least double. Exhaust emissions are much lower -- heck in southern California, the exhaust from an LPG vehicle is cleaner than the air going into it!

No I have seen and herd of car and vans getting 200k-350k and still going great.A motor that has been converted to run on LPG, Will get better gas mileage, plugs last a lot longer (due to a cleaner burn), oil change interval is longer. Gas is really a dirty fuel and does lot of damage to the oil, low end of the engine and the top side ie fuel injectors or carburetor.

The only draw is some slower accelerating.

hi, LPG is an exceedingly solid decision. per my previous adventure i'm telling. I had bought a 4 twelve months previous esteem. i became working it on gasoline for yet another 5 years. i did no longer have any difficulty through gasoline conversion. It gave an approximate millage of 18 km / kg. because yours is a wagon R it is going to furnish greater mileage. in case you stay able the place CNG is obtainable convert to a CNG kit. i think that's plenty greater value-effective than LPG. greater over the knocking in LPG is nil while in comparison with petrol. The LPG would be average slow in low gears and it won't pass 80kmph if it is going to get empty. there'll be an oil which will acquire interior the gasoline kit. be certain you drain it on a many times occurring era. additionally clean your air-clear out on a many times occurring era. desire this facilitates desire this help.
