I quote from a line in the series The Beat: "The guy who'll BODEGA his girl friend at the drop of a hat." Does it mean 'make love to' ? Thanks in advance, and thanks to those who have helped me previously!

My first impression was that he used a word off the top of his head and, face it bodega has a pretty good ring to it. If you don't know what it means, you can use your imagination. That means you can take it anyway you like.

So if bodega means warehouse how would it be appropriate as a verb? What do warehouses do? They store things. They keep things until they are ready for distribution. By that logic, it would seem he is keeping her. How do you keep a girlfriend at the drop of a hat? You marry her.

Just my line of thought for what it's worth. Hope this helps.

Bodega in spanish means a place where you store and sell WINES, ONLY WINES.
Apart from that it is not a verb it is a NOUN so in this sentence,it doesn't make any sense

"Bodega" literally means 'warehouse.' I expect that is vulgar slang for something not nice. I don't think he is 'warehousing his girlfriend.'
