My girlfriend and I were driving in the car last night and she looked out the window at the people going into restaurants and bars, gave this big sigh and said, 'I remember when I was single...' What should I make of this? She said it so wistfully...

Sounds like you need to spice things up. Go for a night out on the town or a fun weekend trip. Otherwise GF might just be single again.

perhaps shes feeling the lack of romance the dating going out to resturants etc. women love to be romanced well most sighs are usually a good thing shes missing something is my feeling towards her sigh most likely either excitement or romance. Id go with romance when shes workin cook a meal for her set up a table 2 candles and a bottle of wine and call me in the mornin :)

You should just ask her if she would like to do something. She may feel like you guys have been in a rut. P.S., Although I understand the view expressed by "gobears", and agree with the christian base of it, I apologize for his un-christian like behavior in his answer. I do recommend reading the bible...go to church.....pray, and practice abstenance. I believe you have as much right to happiness as the rest of us. Try what i mentioned for one month then see what your heart tells you. Let the Lord help you. Best of luck and all my prayers. God Bless.

she probably means that she is bored of the relationship you need to step it up a couple notches and prove to her that you're her man!
