Try some milk, dab it on. If you can get any sour milk, that is even better................... honestly..............

I have experienced the "Itch of Hell" a few time now. I am pretty fair skinned and honestly the only think that i have found that works is benadryl. I have tried various ointments as well as lotions and they do nothing compared to benadryl. Take it as often as posted on the medicine. I took it every 3.5 hours because it seemed to wear off around 4 hours and took 30 minutes to begin working. It may last you longer as i am a 6 foot 200 lb male and may be able to process it slightly faster. I have tried to explain the pain and discomfort to many people of the "hells Itch" and unless you have had it no ones will truly understand. Typically for me it last between 12 and 48 hours but benadryl helps me the most. I would also drink as much water as you can in order to hydrate the body which in turn will help the skin.
Good Luck!

Pat your sunburn with brown vinegar diluted 50/50 with water. It will kill the burn instantly. Just don't get it in any open blisters or it will sting.
You'll smell like a pickle, but it works... :)

Aloe Vera is your best bet...if it's really bad, try benadryl. I also like Aveeno with oatmeal bath soak. Take a bubble bath with that and then rub on the Aloe vera and take a benadryl and you should good to go!!!!

Noxema works, or if you have any vinegar handy but you will smell like a pickle. The noxema also helps your skin to heal

take a cool shower or bath. I think epsom salt may help, but I'm not sure.
