I've seen a joke like this, but I think it goes: You are trapped in a solid room that has no doors or windows. The only things in the room are a mirror and a wooden table.

It's a play on words.

Answer:
You look into the mirror and see what you see and you saw what you saw. So, you take the saw and saw the table in half. Two halves make a whole and you escape through the hole.

Maybe he can burn the bench with his light. The oxygen consumed will create a vaccum, and the ceiling would crumble.

He might get out this way, but I'm not sure if he'll live :)

He digs his way out by hand or uses his magical teleportation super powers. Or he could always climb out through the ceiling.

You didnt say the room had a ceiling. I say he uses the bench and climbs over the top of the wall.

he could stand on the bench and swing on the light fixture til he climbs over the wall. since you didn't mention a ceiling.
