I don't know, about the machine.... but if you suffer with recurrent coldsores, get Aciclovir prescribed by your doctor, the same active ingredient in the cream, but a very strong dose.... when you feel one coming on you have to take the pill 5 x a day for 5 days.... mine have never come to the surface.
