I'm not an owner of any breeds except Australian Shepherds currently, but if there are no laws in place concerning the breed in the area (such as the case in my neck of the woods)- I flat out refuse to support any businesses that ban dogs based on breeds. Anything from a Chihuahua to a English Mastiff can show animal and/or human aggression and I believe the banning of a single breed rather than an assessment of all dogs that come in does not make a kennel worth my time. I'm also not a fan of group play at kennels simply for the fact... Well I don't trust any kennel with assessment of aggression, nor the ability to stop it before it causes damage. My Aussie girl Aleu? She loves herding other dogs while she plays- Some dogs take it in stride, some do not. The same can be said for owners and I've had many recognize what's she's doing, and a few start yelling about "aggression" (she doesn't even nip like she would with sheep). As for training... The things they boost of are not anything I would personally need. If I did I would be checking out references and qualifications something that takes more time than I care to invest in a Yahoo Answers question (no offense), and something better done locally (especially when you can see your other options).

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/q7CMV
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.
