Please make a phone call to your case worker, or Social Security Office, to make sure that it's not a scam.
There are so many cases of stolen identities today, and you may be giving a criminal full access to your account without even knowing.
You can't be too careful these days!

I am in Minnesota and applied for disability for my 9 yr old daughter and they asked for account information to verify income and what money I had on hand and they gave me option to set up direct deposit before they even processed claim but I am still dealing with the process which with my daughters condition can take a while and even a few appeals before she can get it and she has ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder).
You can call them and ask them. To me it sounds as though you may be getting payments, they may have a website to go to and it can give you information ON your case too. check into it.
http://www.socialsecurityanddisability.com/
http://www.ssa.gov/
try these two sites for information.

Sorry to read of your disability. I would say, yes it does mean you are approved but then again you are dealing with a strictly bureaucratic agency and they do love their paper...
I certainly do hope you were approved, if that makes you feel any better.
Good Luck.

people who meet the factors are in many cases authorized on their first attempt. despite if, sometimes a mistake exchange into made and persons are then allowed on their first attraction. you're suitable in no longer getting an lawyer for this common attraction. they do no longer in all risk have any enter in this technique. in case you're denied lower back, this is once you are able to desire to contemplate an lawyer, with the aid of fact the 2d attraction is going to a precise listening to in the previous a decide. a great variety of cases anybody is authorized on the listening to point. no longer plenty with the aid of fact some thing exchange into finished incorrect on the 1st 2 ranges, yet with the aid of fact oftentimes 2-3 years bypass with the aid of in the previous the listening to. no count if this is a actual incapacity a great variety of cases the situation has worsened and you at present qualify.

No one gets a disability from a letter. You are born with it or you have an accident or you get sick.
Did you see Simpsons when Homer tried to eat himself into a claim? Is that you?

I does not necessarily mean you were approved. You will get a letter of approval when you are.
