Caffeine is a powerful drug, and some office coffee vendors supply incredibly rich mixes.
I found that most of the time when coffee's too strong it's because the person making it didn't follow the directions, and put in 1/2 as much water as they should have.

I sometimes drink so much Diet Coke that the caf rush has me thinking about things so fast I can't process them properly. Its like soda induced ADD. Just when I think about the solution to something my mind races to another thought before I get a chance to write it down.

I've approached that on occasion.
Keep your consumption down to less than one pot, and you should be okay.
(Unless it's high octane, then you really should limit yourself to 1 or 2 cups a day)
