certain iced teas do have caffeine, if they have caffeine hot, same is true cold. herbal teas generally do not so if you turn them into iced teas, no caffeine.

If you like coffee, you could have an iced mocha of some kind. YUMMY. Also Mountain Dew has a lot of caffeine. You can make hot tea then put some ice cubes in it with some sugar and lemon. Tea doesn't have that much caffeine it though, no matter how you make it. It really depends all on what you like. I'm, right now, drinking a Mountain Dew to wake up some.

Unless you purchase a tea that specifically says it's decalf, any tea you make will have caffeine. Nothing wrong with iced tea in the am, it's a lovely way to start the day when it's hot. Personally I love iced tea with lemon or raspberry.
Cheers

"Regular" tea has caffeine.
"Green" tea has lots of caffeine.
Here is my iced tea recipe for 2 quart pitcher:
8 teabags
2 Cups boiling water (I use filtered water from my Brita pitcher)
While boiling water, put teabags in 2 Cup heatproof (IE Pyrex) measuring cup.
Pour water into measuring cup and let steep a few minutes.
Pour tea into pitcher.
Boil 2 more cups of water and pour on "used" teabags. Let steep about 3-5 minutes. (This won't be a strong as the 1st time).
Add this tea to pitcher. Squeeze teabags and discard them.
Top pitcher off with cold or room temperature water.
Put pitcher of tea in fridge.
Much better than "instant."
PS Do this at night, when it's cooler.

A cold isotronic drink like a (sports drink) is the most likely to work the fastest. It gives you fluid, isotronic salts which help the bodies electrical system and nerve communication and a little sugar and other ingredients that act as a pick me up.

Most iced teas will have caffeine. I assume you don't like coffee (iced coffee is delish!). Soda has caffeine, some lemonades will have caffeine.

i agree with templejohn, hot tea when its hot raises your internal temperature so your body raises the blood vessels closer to the surface of your skin to cool off.
tea best drink of the day, just amke sure you buy decent tea bags.

a fresh apple will wake you up better than caffeine!! i know it sounds strange, but i am a caffeine addict- coffee and coke all day and night. i heard this on the news, tried it and much to my surprise- it works!!! 100% apple juice does almost as well.
