The nicest, classiest, and possibly most expensive place to go downtown is the 95th floor of the Hancock Building. So I have heard, they won't let someone like me in there.

There are bunches of nice restaurants downtown. what kind of food are you looking for?

Odyssey is very nice. it's more high-end. be ready to pay $ 300 for two for a dinner cruise ( that is if you are doing Sat. Fireworks dinner, there are less expensive options).
I took my husband on a dinner cruise for his birthday. I liked it a lot and so did he. We had a really great time.
