That's a pretty sucky situation. I would say that if one of my guy friends told me he loved me, when I was in a relationship, I would have to do some serious thinking. It does you no good to try and bash her boyfriend, because that will make her super defensive, and she'll get upset with you. I think you're best bet at this point is to just continue to be her friend. Hang out with her and be there for her, and if this boyfriend is really bad, she'll eventually get fed up with him, and that is when she is going to need someone to talk to, and that someone will most likely be you. Sorry, I know it sucks to just hang in there and wait, but sometimes while you are waiting, someone else pops up that you never expected, and you end up being happier than you ever thought you could be. I have been the female in one of these types of situations. It is hard on the guy to go through this because I have put my best friend through this 3 times at least in the last two years and he is still in love with me. If you have told her how you feel, then the most that you can do it try to be there for her when she needs you. Don't nag, or cry with self pity, or beg. Just be there for her when she needs you and maybe you two could go out to lunch together and talk. She will appreciate the fact that you are not pressuring her into your arms and that you are still there for her as a friend. Spend time with her and talk to her, hang out as friends, you may grow on her.

Treat her like a princess. Give her everything she wants. Take her to lunch...... This is CRAZY TALK!!!! If you want to be used and abused then behave this way. People have different goals in relationships and if you are too far off in your goals this wont work. You should read "He's not that into you" and apply it in the opposite way. Or decide that you want only a friendship too and be happy with that.
I've seen to many guys hang around much to long and get nothing they want in the end. But if you don't want anything more, enjoy.
