It's littering.
True story: I'm getting a bunch of mass emails sent among the whole group of friends in which two of them are talking about a missing Bible. Why I'm getting them, I don't know. But come to find out, she stole the Bible from a hotel!!! "God's work" huh?

At some of these Dollar Stores you can buy Bibles for $1 dollar and sometimes less. Sometimes you can get only the New Testament for even less than that. Don't you think it would be a good idea to give people the whole Gospel instead of just part of it. A lot of people would really be upset with you if they saw you tearing the pages out of a Bible. Personally, I would never desecrate the Bible and I don't really believe you would either. It is a good idea to spread the Gospel. Jesus will appreciate that part.

That would be destroying the Book that contains all the words of God and why wouldn't you get a free Bible and give it out there are many places that offer free Bibles.
Why would you only share part of the word of God rather the entire thing? It would be more clear if they saw the whole picture you think!

Keeping them intact so that they will retain context would probably be a good idea. Would you tear pages out of a science textbook to teach people about science? Of course even though you are being facetious, you never know what can happen. There are recorded instances of people, usually inmates, who used the pages of the Bible for cigarette paper, but eventually read the pages & became saved. So go for it, if you want. I don't think it's God's will, but no matter what you do or how you do it, God will be able to use it for His advancement.

It would look like you hated God if you were ripping pages out of the Bible, even if you were well-intentioned. And, there are so many wonderful tracts or complete Bibles that you can hand out. Perhaps your idea would have been a good one in the days before the printing press! But, I think that it is great that you are thinking creatively- Christians need more enthusiastic and creative ideas about how to reach people with the good news of who Jesus is and of His bound-less love for them. The truth is, we are all unique and beautifully made, but a tarnish hides who we really are. Jesus doesn't want to suppress who you are, He wants to free you from the grips of sin and death, to polish you into the incredibly marvelous creation that you are. We just have to hand the reigns of our life over to God, because we were never meant to rule our own life. Jesus died to forgive us of our sins, and he lives b/c we are now set free to live, too. We don't have to earn God's favor through "good works" b/c we can never be "good" enough- His standard is too high- Jesus met that standard- and His "goodness" becomes our goodness. His favor is a free gift! Let Him restore you into an loving relationship with the Father. God is the true Lord of us all, but to some He also becomes their savior, Father, and friend. Test God to see if this is true. I tested him, and, where before I hated Cristianity, God radically changed my world-view and gave me an assurance and peace that nothing else offered.

There's better ways go share Gods word then literally ripping out the pages of the Bible. That's defacing God's word and do you think he'd like that?? NO. Here's a website you can go to and they'll send you free Pocket Testaments you can pass out to people.

NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT. What on earth gave you that idea? Do you really think people will read papers torn from the Bible? of course not. They'll just throw them away. And anyway what benefit is there in reading a few pages from the Bible? Rather buy Bibles and distribute if you want to help otherwise please don't do it, not only people but God will be disappointed in you.

Most places like that wont let you do any kind of soliciting or marketing without a permit . And you would be responsible for the litter by the people that throw away the pages. Check with your local government as to your legal right to do that sort of thing.

No. the bible was not meant for that purpose, you can read it to an unsave person or even show them what the word of god said or why dont you buy them a bible. Do you really think that one page can tell them what the word of god said?

It would be rude.. number one.. number two... it would be destroying your Bible, so what would you read? That wouldn't work.. and number three.. if you really wanted to spread the word.. you could buy those tiny little bright colored Bibles that all of the Christians give out at street corners and at the entrance to sporting events.
