companies are cheep and some schools provide breakfast for the kids there for there are less people buying kid cereal. Everyone now theses days are concerned with eating health. I know kids gets get disappointed that there is not a toy in there but when I was growing up I had a brother and sister also wanting that toy and its not fair that one kid gets the toy and the others one dont. So that maybe also a part of it aswell.

I ate them all! No, seriously it's something to do with a change in the law - they're not allowed to put toys in cereal boxes anymore because it's an unfair way to entice kids to want that cereal.

There are toys in them sometimes - but because of the 'fact' that putting plastic toys in with the cerial itself will now kill you (not the case when I was a boy) - they now tend to be in a plastic bag between the box and the bag containing the cerial itself! It's like the 'fact' that a sixpence placed in a Chritmas pudding in the 21st century will undoubtedly choke someone unfortunate enough to find it - whereas in Victorian times, it was normal practice! They have also 'discovered' that the leaves on the palm trees in Torquay have suddenly become dangerous after 50 years!!!!!!!!! Hmmmm!

I noticed that too. Nothing is free now. You have to buy 20 boxes of cereal then send the proof of purchase to get something that is worth $2.00. Not a bad deal since you only spent $85.00 on the ceral. LOL!!!

You can't be buying the right cereal. My kids got a toy in with Coco pops crunchers this week.

because cereal makers, along with all other companies are tightarsedbastards. just like, why are chocolate bars getting steadily smaller and smaller, why do u get less crisps in a packet and do kelloggs expect us no to notice that the special k bar is half the size it was last year? the same reason there is poverty and sh!t like that, the richest are the stingiest.
