Hi.Sometimes the best way to conquer fear is to get as close as possible to whatever it is that your afriad of.Try to make her touch a dog. You touch it first, stroke it,pet it etc(please try on a very friendly dog you know!)let her see you do it, then ask her to try while you are still doing it. She need to know that a fly cannot harm her.Ask her if you can buy her a kitten(a very young one i would suggest if she should say yes)or take her to the pet store ,show her a kitten and have her pet it.Is she afriad of birds too?If not show her that the bird and the kitten can be her friends together.Show her some fish and have her feed them. Just show her how gentle these things can be!!! p.s don't be rough with her, she'll get over it soon enough.
GOOD LUCK!!

Sounds like she was never exposed to the outside world when she was a baby. Just like dogs, children need to learn social skills at an early age in order to function in new situations. Take her out with you as much as possible and expose her to new things, slowly. Pretty soon she will calm down and realize it's okay and you won't let anything happen to her. Good luck

Just keep introducing her to new things BUT always comfort her. She sounds like an extremely sensitive person, she might not ever completely grow out of it. Good luck.

You need to get her out of the house to face her fears. Stay close as she meets new people, makes new friends, and steps outside of her comfort level. Then slowly leave her alone more often so she can get comfortable around unknown circumstances.

I can see why she would be afraid of flys, dogs, or cats. Animals and bugs can be creepy to little kids. You're just going to have to show her that those things aren't scary. Have her watch you pet a cat or a dog and ask her if she wants to pet them. Just remind her that cats and dogs are only mean if you're mean to them and if she's nice she won't have anything to worry about. As for new people, it seems to me she's just shy. And for new places, they just aren't familiar to her and she just needs to get used to them.

You should beat her until she snaps out of it. That is NOT normal behavior.
