I heard that they have somehting that came out where you insert a chip into a dog and then you can track it but i have no been able to find something like this.

Yes, there is such thing as a gps tracking microchip that you can insert into your dogs ear. All that you have to do is ask your vet about the procedure.

You could always get a tracking collar. They are availiable from several differnt sporting goods stores. However a good one is going to cost you between $800 and $1000. Just type in tracking collar on yahoo.

Ask your vet about a microchip or home again system. If your dog is lost and if found and taken to a shelter they can scan the microchip and get him back to you

I know about the microchip that they put in the dog, but that only works if it is scanned by a special gun and the pets info comes up.
