So I'm going out with a friend, and she's bringing her boyfriend and one of his friends is tagging along. I know her boyfriend brought a friend for my sake....but I'm really shy and I dont know what to say...or how to act and I'm really nervous. I mean what do guys like to talk about??? I've never really talked with a guy thats how shy I am. Please any advice would help me out, I'm leaving soon!!

just be yourself.. i used to be really shy too. i always wondered, "oh is he going to think i'm stupid?? what if i'm not pretty enough? what if he thinks i'm lame??!"
DON'T WORRY about it. stop thinking of this guy as your future boyfriend or if he'll like you. just go in trying to get to know him, if u do that in a friends setting, it will be easier for you to talk to him normally. there's too much pressure if u keep wondering if ur too shy or lame. work on being confident in yourself, in what u know, what u can talk about (do u know a lot about sports? or politics? what are ur interests, what books have u read? movies u've seen?); that way, no matter what situation ur in or WHO u meet (parents, friends, strangers), u can hold ur head up high and keep a conversation w/ anyone. use this as practice; if he likes u and is nice, great!! but that's not ur goal. make ur goal to be able to be confident and not to worry about what people think about u; if he thinks ur lame or "weird", it's cuz he's a jerk, not cuz u are too shy.

All men are different so theres no way of telling what they like. So start with small talk and work your way up. If you think you like this guy then you can ask up the ladder and finally ask "Are you doing anything this saturday?". Just take it one step at a time

just say hi and what does he like to do for fun. and stuff. like current events. there are many topics. and once you find a topic you both got in common with go with that and talk about it.

find out what his interests are and go from there. ask him if he watches sports or plays. talking about sports is always safe

either let him take the lead of just talk about what you normal chat about with girls, unless of course you only chat about personal stuff.
