I had them too when I was younger. I had them frozen off and burned off electrically. The only thing that really worked was freezing them off with liquid nitrogen. It really is sort of painful and it works the same way frostbite works. I personally think there should be an internal cure that could be taken, but if it was made public, it would put dermatologists out of business. My grandmother said that I should cut off the end of a potato and tape it to the wart for 2 days, then bury the potato near a pine tree. Then the wart would go away. I thought that it was so ridiculous that I never tried it.

Warts are caused by a virus. The particular virus that causes warts, you can never get rid of. You will have it for the rest of your life! You can have warts removed, but there is no guarantee that they will not come back. One thing that sounds bizzare, but works is duct tape. There is a chemical in the tape that makes the warts fall off. You will have to wear the tape for a while before the wart will fall off, but it is a lot cheaper than going to a dermatologist and spending money on do it yourself kits!

You have to keep the duct tape on and between changing the tape, use a nail file or pumice stone to file the wart down. Don't use that file or stone for anything else or you'll pass the virus to other parts of your body.

There are essential oils that can kill the virus that causes warts. Young Living makes one called "Thieves". Also tea tree oil is easy to find. Apply twice a day.
Yes, you may always encounter or have this virus (it's quite common), but you can also strengthen your immune system to repel it, too. Try Health Kinesiology. I think it's amazing. Find a practitioner near you here:
