The spleen is located under your 7th to 10th ribs - on the left hand side. Normally, even if you press hard you should not be able to feel it, except in little babies. Danger of rupture in accidents.
The spleen is where all your red blood cells get destroyed when theyre old and your bopdy doesnt want them. It also helps the immune system. In some disorders like severe thalassemia, the doc may advice you to remove it.
