Please understand that with PETA you have to get all the facts. That organization is wildly bias toward the hysterical and fantastic.
But in this case it is absolutely on the money. Iams is one of the worst foods out today and their animal management needs some work.
What you can do is not buy anything from Iams. Money speaks louder that words for these people. If we send a clear message, they will be forced to change their ways.
Educate everyone you know. Tell them what's going on. Iams has a good Public Relations staff that "spin" that they have one of the best foods out there and site the fact that vets feed it to their dogs. Well, Iams pays veterinarians all kinds of money to carry the food, recommend it, feed it. Also, they spend millions on TV campaigns that make the food look good. Same with Science Diet and Purina. This food is all but poison to dogs and the public is fooled by the TV ads.
Know what brands are genuinely good for dogs and have good practices when it comes to testing their products. Natura Pet Products, Wellness, Avoderm, and Artemis are wonderful companies who test their food on family pets and do questionnaires instead of having a kennel.

You can help by not using links to ANY animal right groups (HSUS, PeTA, DDAL, IDA) as a source of reputable information. They lie and twist the truth in their quest to remove animals from our pastures and couchs. NO more 'Rover', NO more horses, NO more meat, NO more leather.
The Iams thing is from YEARS ago. It was proven to be a doctored video and was false. Welcome to the untruths and outright lies of the ARs. I wouldn't believe them if they told me it was hot outside.
Posters- PeTA is NOT the only group who feels we should not own animals. HSUS, DDAL, IDA, and numerous others feel the same way, they just hide it better. IMO PeTA only exists to make the others SEEM more mainstream. But they are not, they have the SAME agenda.

Yes it is legal and yes this does happen here in the US all the time.
What can you do refuse to support companies that do animal testing. Do not buy product from them.
PETA is a little to extreme for me.
They feel no one should own animals as pets. I refuse to be involved with them also.
I wil not buy product from companies that animal test like Proctor and Gamble does.
It is small but I feel better supporting a company who does not torture animals like they do.
Many ofthe test could be done in a much better enviroment and less harmful to the health of the animals.

I have a hard time believing that.....also when dogs are together like shown in the video there is no way they are lonely....and if it is true I would think for sure some group would be screaming blue murder....I think it was just a clip to try to get donations
