Sounds daft - but it could be a throat infection. Referred pain. Used to get it as a kid with bad tonsillitis. Go to the doctors!!!

I think I may know what your problem is. Have you seen a doctor and asked if your jaw may be Dislocated? I had the same problem and it turned out my jaw was dislocated. my pain was right below my ear and right above my bottom jaw line. my jaw has been dislocated since last August, I was chewing gum too hard and felt it pop. can you remeber if you recall this happening? you should see a dentist and explain to him your problem. tell me if you feel any better or this advise worked! Get Well Soon!

You know, it sounds to me like you have a condition known as TMJD... (Tendomandibular Joint Disfunction...) As a sufferer of MANY years I can tell you something that will possibly help temporarily. Push your bottom jaw outas far as you can and hold it for about 3-4 seconds, release and do it again 10 more times. When you have gotten used to this, up the time you hold it. I am not sure why it helps, but it just does.
Hope this makes you feel better, and good luck to you!

I had the same symptoms as you a few weeks ago, and it was a abscess from my wisdom tooth, it can get very painful if not treated but you have to see a dentist not a Dr if you got jaw ake as i was told any kind of jaw ake is a dentist job but if you have not got one then see your Dr, as it could be a number of things. but i would go and get it check out before it gets any worst.

Could be an inner ear infection. I'd see a doctor - even if you don't like to go, just to get it checked out.

well I suggest you go see the dentist soon. Maybe wisdom teeth?
in the mean time, try some sudafed tablets, cos if it is not a tooth then it may be blocked sinus. Quick way to tell is, if you lean your head forward, does your face feel heavy or aching? If yes, then that be sinus.
DENTIST appointment, asap, just in case it is wizzies, and they get worse.

It will either be wisdom teeth or maybe inner ear infection. if it doesn't clear up up will have to see a pharmacist/doctor. Put all you like in your ears - you ear drum will prevent it working.
