If your partner has given you no reason to doubt his/her loyalty to you then no. If there are doubts being raised by his/her actions then hell yes. Especially if they continually claim you are cheating on them but they would never cheat on you.

hmmmm......that is a iffy subject. I wouldn't check it cause it would 1) make me feel guilty and 2) betray the trust in the relationship. The only time I would check it is if I has susp. that he could be interested/dating another woman at the same time (if your not exclusive) and even then I would think twice, three times, and most likely still wouldn't. But if you ask him who text him and he totally lies (you can tell when your man is lying) then I would really think about sitting him down and talking about it.
