I always like to show my real face. but then again, i dont mind my real self. for many people its a self esteem issue

They want to impress the girl, so they try to act according to what they think the girl will like. this cant keep up forever, and eventually their true side shows.

then again, most women are two-faced also. its animal nature to try and present yourself as best you can to attract mates. You want to seem laid back and cool and attractive, even if you're not normally

It also goes for appearnace. im sure that some dude in a beater with his gut hanging out holding a beer and drooling would have women flocking all over him(sarcasm) but when he stops drooling, puts on a belt and a nice shirt, and switches the beer for iced tea, he looks much better.

a little off topic, but doesnt makeup try to accomplish the same thing? why try to make yourself appear like something you're not?

Most young ladies (you are perhaps very young), have that conception, o perception.( of young male being cheaters or persistant liars)
Men in general when Young, try to compensate lack of experience and or social status, with litle lies and cheating.
This is a sign of insecurity, however, if you are seriously interested in one young man, and want to keep him, point gently to the lie, or the cheating problem.( a gentle confrontation with the truth as you see it, not an argument at all)
If somebody really cares for You, most surely will change his behavior with gentle confrontation with the truth.
Remember, showing the face of a false winner, or overachiever, for a Young man, is a compensation (perhaps overcompensation) for ones own failures or deficiencies.
By the way, anechdotically, 22% oy young teenagers, (male) have the misperception of girls being too "easy or false", especially if they have had a bad experience or " broken heart" before.
there you are, the explanation is the same.However it can be managed with the same principle.

Girls actually are slaves of vanity in most cases (about 80%), So what do you espect from those guys that want to hang out with the 80% of the women population. Showing off is the answer.

95% of the people in this world are fake, be it guys or girls. People are fake because we are all selfish by nature, and when it comes down to the end, all that matters is usually ourselves. There are a few exceptions though, but those breeds are slowly disappearing....
