you have to exercise too, but also look at what kinds of fruits and vegetables you are eating. Because if you are eating fruits and vegetables that have a lot of water and sugar, then you may be retaining water in your body which will cause you not to lose any weight. And in order to lose weight, you don't have to limit yourself to just fruits and vegetables. You can eat anything you want, as long as its in moderation and you exercise. I lost over 20 pounds eating whatever I wanted. I just exercised, stopped drinking soft drinks, and ate in moderation. That is the key. Good luck!

Three days is not long and it could be other things like consuming anti-water. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Well your body needs more than fruits and veggies to lose weight/ plus its only been 3 days. I've been in weightwatchers and lost 50 lbs in less than a year. They told us to successfully lose weight your body needs these factors; All Of Them
5 servings a day of fruits/veggies
Choose whole grain (brown rice, oats, etc) whenever possible
2 servings of milk (low fat or fat free) a day
1 tsp of healthy oil a day (olive/canola/safflower/sunflower/flax) a day. Its best if you do it straight up or stir it in yogurt/orange juice (it goes down smoother)
Get enough protein
Limit sugar/alcohols
Drink tons of water
and take a multi-vitamin.
I found if I drank only water (instead of juice/pop/coffee) I lost more weight than if I was drinking the others, in fact that made a huge difference to weather or not I lost weight in that week.
Just remember, its not what you eat, its HOW MUCH of it your eating at one time. Portion size is everything.
Hope this helps

Don't forget fruits are loaded with sugars. Try eating lean protiens and salad greens and don't forget your eight glasses of water a day-- the colder the better for burning calories. And incorporate exercise, like walking on a treadmill for 30 min. Check out Oprah.com--Oprah's Bootcamp!!!

you have to take in atleast 1,200 clories a day otherwise your body goes in to starvation mode and holds on to the fat and weight because it thinks you are trying to starve it. try having 5-6 small lean protein based meals with small salads with diet dressings and some fruit. drink 10 8oz glasses of water with a good squeeze of lemon in it as it helps flush out the toxins( a gallon of water a day is best as it really flushes out fat and toxins) fruit and veggies are good for you as they are good carbs. be careful as some fruits like bananas have high calories. pick fruits that have alot of fiber to keep your digestion moving. remember too that exercise helps alot even walking at a good pace every day. exercise will also help buil muscle mass which is heavier than fat so it may seem like you are not losing at first, but it will catch up and you will both lose and get toned. try getting a richard simmons workout tape/dvd! boy do i work up a sweat after i do that. remember you body needs lean protein, fish, chicken.....and the 5-6 meals a day help keep your metabolism moving. water water water drink drink drink

how much fruit are you eating? Some fruits contain quite a large amount of sugar, so if you're dieting off that, well girl, you might as well eat spoonfuls of sugar.
I'd say drink lots of water and exercise and sweat it out.
On another note, please do not diet off apples. News has it that someone had to go to hospital after eating 8 apples in one go, because its very hard to digest...
oh.. and really.. dont diet like this for more than a week. you'll kill yourself >.<

If you are eating only fruits and veggies, your body might not be getting enough calories and start thinking you are starving. If it does, it will hoard energy and you might GAIN weight. A balanced diet is much better for losing weight.

You can't lose weight that fast. You would have to either consume 500 less calories then you used too OR burn 500 more calories you used to for 7 days to lose one pound. One pound = 3500 calories.
