My hips and thighs go out further though. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

learn to enjoy it, its the way you're body is naturally shaped, and its what makes you beautiful.

It'd be a boring world if everyone looked the same, and people would get bored being with the same body type over and over and over.

Theres nothing wrong with you at all. Just exercise for your health, and stay fit.

No that's your body shape and a great femane shape. If you want to look more like the women who model the cloths who don't have small waist and lager hips you can wear clothes that fit low on your hips and make sure your pant legs are wide at the botton this will allow you too look like what you see. But your shape is the best look at all of the women who are considered sexy and beautiful they have your figure.

Consider yourself lucky! The worst place to store your weight (health wise) is your mid section.

If you really want to trip down your hips start walking and build up to a run...This is great exercise for your legs, hips, thighs and butt! And its cheap. All you need is a good pair of running shoes.
