Try closing the doors to your bathroom, tie your hands behind your back, then, wait until you have to go, by the way, no one is allowed to open the door for you!, get the point? Your puppy should not be sleeping with you, he should be in a crate next to your bed...we keep our almost 6 month old Great Dane in a crate (huge crate) next to our bed...if he's gotta go in the middle of the night, he whines until we let him outside to potty, then right back into the crate.

He is probably fine. Just young. I have 5 dogs, 3 males/ 2 females. The youngest 2 always need to go out first. My older dogs do not have a problem.
If you are going to let him sleep on your bed...I would make sure and take him out as late as you can and as early as you can. You can use a potty training pad on your bathroom floor, if necessary.
Treat the urine stains with an enzymatic cleaner and buy a waterproof mattress cover.
Look for a pattern in his accidents, but do not withhold water.
Good Luck.

Your puppy's bladder is still very small, and his muscles aren't fully developed yet. Puppies should be taken out to potty every 2-4 hours, depending on their size. Until you are mostly sure he won't do it again (i.e. crate trained, days or weeks w/ no accidents in house) you will either have to have him not sleep with you, get up and take him out every 2-3 hours to be sure he's empty, or wash your sheets and bed when he does.

probably normal. if you haven't shown him where he has to go pee at or shown discipline when he peed in the wrong place he probably did that because he had to go potty. since he is a puppy you need to show him where and when to go potty. if you are really concerned or something though, i would suggest going to the vet.

Young puppies do not have bladder control like adult dogs and he could not help it. I have seen instances of cystitis in puppies, but most cases are young female puppies. If you see him straining to pee, you need to see a vet, but more than likely, it was just a case of immature bladder.

I'd say normal, he/she is not trained yet. If they were in their cage, they may not have peed, since they know not to pee where they live. You're supposed to keep them in the cage until they are trained to avoid stuff like this.

It's a boy dog, right? He likes it up there and he is marking it. He is establishing what belongs to him. My advice, don't let the dog in the bed. Believe me it will become annoying later anyway.

Are you sure he peed or did he mark his territory? That's what dogs do. So show him he can't urinate in your bed and enforce that.
