You know, I'll bet He did.
Just like He is weeping today, over the horrors that are being committed in the name of some religion or other.

Did the godless Stalin, Hilter, Mao, the Khmer Rouge and many others like them weep as they killed their millions to perfect ethnic cleansing, a self-creation, evolutionary concept? The fossil record is the truth since it is a fact, so do not put me in the genesis account group.

However, why don't you ask these more recent current events type questions that are far more tragic? Sampson was at war. These others murder innocents.

Logic and the bible is like mixing oil and water, but I'll try it anyway.

It would be physically impossible, since Sampson killed 3000 civillians before Jesus lived.

Sure, he could have miracled himself back in time, but I doubt he'd do that just so he could cry.

well, seeing as god apparently hates Canaanites and egyptians, i guess they were less worthy than the "chosen people".
god kills a lot of people in the old testament, the whole world at one point, so i guess he's not pissed off about samson only killing a few thousand.

also, its interesting to note that there was no "thou shalt not kill" footnote that said "this only applies if the victim is a jew".
the whole "turn the other cheek" notion doesn't come into play until jesus. maybe this was intentional, god wanted to get rid of all the idol worshipers first, and then lay this humility teaching on us.

Tough to draw a parallel between behavior in pre-modern times and now. Probably wouldn't be considered terrorism back then. And now, if you consider that he was captured, tortured, had his eyes gouged out and then publicly humiliated on an ongoing basis, his actions have a different background than your average homicide bomber who just goes to the mall to blow up some group of people he is taught to hate.

Why would Jesus cry for people that his Father allowed Sampson to destroy? Neither God nor Jesus express that they want people to die. The bible teaches that God would much rather see a wicked person change his ways. Nowhere does the bible teach that God is feeling sorry for the people He destroyed. Jesus perfectly imitates his Father, so why would he be crying over people who refuse to follow what God asks them to do?

Why would he, when his dad drowned 99.999999999999 % of the world's population ?

p.s. O.k , so Samson killed 3000 civilians ; but he didn't deserve Delilah's haircut.

Jesus wept because of the power that death had over humanity. But He broke that power and put Death to death. Now He weeps no more.
