I want to send a fax without my fax # showing up. Will *67 work the same as it does when you are making a phone call and block the number?

It depends on the other person's fax. They may block out those numbers they can not view. If so you are out of luck.

only if the recipients fax machine doenst print out the senders number

Yes there's no reason it shouldn't, and FYI to one of the guys answering this question: It does work with cell phones!
