Big Macs...?

Hey,

Guys just a point being made,

Why is it that here in the states Big Macs are HUGE?

But when you got to the UK they are very small indeed?

I dont think they are even that big over there. in the adverts here they look much better than in real life. They dont have lettace or bugger all in them in real life its prob the same over there everthing looks better on tele

Because McDonalds
1) wants to justify the price.
2) would get killed in the marketing world by Burger King and Wendy's if they shrunk 'em down.

is funny - becasue in the adverts they look big, nice and worth buying. Whereas in reality you get a load of soggy bread, some crap meat mixed with floor sweepings, and a load of brown lettuce.

Burger King by miles for me.

Oh in answer to the question, all food is bigger in the US as they are a bunch of fat greedy bastards.

I never ate at McDonalds' until I was forced there on a recent road trip. I ordered the Asian Salad and I really loved it!
(watch, they will give me a violation for Advertising!LOL)

cos everything in america is bigger to cope with the bigger appetites. britain is traditionally "proper" and therefore more dainty. america is traditionally big and over the top. maybe its because macdonalds are just trying to con us brits out of as much money as possible.

many americans have weight management issues. no one knows the meaning of 'too much' here. i guess people in the UK realise that it will clog ur arteries!

I found that pretty much ALL food portions in the US were bigger than here, resulting in a lot of wastage.

I think most things are bigger in American than over here including the people.
