Sales tax varies by state, county, and possibly by city so you need to know where the store in question is located and what the tax rate is at that location. Call the store and ask.
If the rate is 5.75% multiply 19.95 x 1.0575 to get the total after tax.
Also note that some items may not be taxable at that location. For example in Ohio food is not taxable, but soft drinks that are not 100% juice are taxed.
So when you ask the store the tax rate, tell them what you are going to buy because that might matter.

Depends on the state, plus often the county.
Different states have different sales taxes, and sometimes counties have sales taxes as well.
Easiest way is to find out what the tax is, then multiply it by 20. That will give you the number. If it is 5%, then $1.00.
8% is $1.60.

What is the sales tax in your state? Find that out and take 19.95 x __% = your sales tax which you add to 19.95!!!

depends on where you live. Every tax rate is different.
If its 7% then it would be 19.95 *.07 that would give you how much the tax would be.

It also depends on the local area you are in because of local add on taxes. If you are buying on-line it depends on the company you are buying from. If you buy a Coke in my town the tax can be different dependent on which side of the street you buy it on.

dont know what the tax is but here is your working out
tax rate / 100 *19.5 = ?
? + 19.95 =
I.e if tax was 17.5%
17.5/100= 0.175 * 19.95 = 3.49
3.49 + 19.95 = $23.44

It depends where you are buying it and what you are buying. Taxes vary alot.⥠I would guess it would be around $2-3 though.â¥
