YOu start off by teaching them that you love them, that God loves them and that they should give alittle love back to every person they meet.
Teach them proper boundaries, that the word no is not a bad word at all, this will protect them and the people they encounter in life.
Show them how to be respectful through your everyday life, show them the simply things like opening doors for everyone your with and not minding being the last to enter,
teach them that fair play is a good thing and that sharing the knowledge that they have as well as their toys,
is the same as teaching.
Teach them to be kind, make them work to get what they want, and show them how to never give up on themselves.
Work with them hand in hand, pass your knowledge on and incoperate others whom you look up too to share with them as well.
Don't make them angry, teach them when to compromise and when to stand firm.
Talk to them never yell at or demean them.
Show them how to heal hurts, by kissing boo boo's . And giving hugs.
Allow them to fall, so that they can learn to stand.
Show them the wonders of our planet and ask them what they would have named all the different sites they see.
Let them have a pet, and be responsible for that pet.
Give them a sibling "if you can" to grow up with to fight with and to fight for so that they learn that love never fails..
Be there! Thats the most important of all things. Just be there!
And of course be happy that your there.

Hey Billie Joe!!! The best way to teach is by example. If you want your children to be good people, you too must be a good person. From a very small age, your children will watch your every move. They see how you treat people, they see how you act on a day to day basis. They will act the way they see you act. The best thing you can do as a father is to love your children unconditionally. Let them know that no matter what they do or say, you love them. Let them know that you may not like their choices, but you love them. You need to do the same for yourself. Teach your children with love and patience and they will treat others the same way. As I said, example is the best way to teach.

Studies have shown that children learn by example.
so when u r a worthy example, u'll bring up worthy children. so dont just teach, live by what u teach and they'll copy from what they see not only what they hear.
Sow what u want to see.
if u want them good, be good.
teach them values that will make for virtues for emulation.
there is no free society. dont teach them "its ur life, live it as u want, u will end up with monsters tommorrow.
someone once said and i believe him
" make them cry today so they'll make u laugh tommorrow"
the reason its called "teach" is bcos they dont know. they usually come out blank into this world (like a chalk-board), so what u write into them is what society reads from them. Its what they observe being practiced and accepted firstly from home and then the larger society they'll imbibe as codes of conduct or ethics..
all the best.

To respect every living thing regardless of its size, love them, cherish them, and always be there for them when they need advice ir even just a hug.
I have a 16 and 15 year old, never been in trouble, doing well at school and always need a hug before bed. I always made sure they knew what was right and wrong and explained the difference to them.

Parents need to teach by example. They need to demonstrate love and respect for one another. Model the values that you consider correct. Remain parents who set clear expectations and clear rewards and consequences—children see things like children and they need adults to not relinquish their authority so the children will "like" them. Oh yes and read to them as often as you can.

Tolerance and communication.

Understanding that people are different and we should accept them and understanding what people are saying and what they are meaning are keys to becoming a good person.

I am a firm believer that you can only teach them so much... when they get to a certain age, they will make their own way in life.
