Well, you tell me: what happens if you don't:
- really put each other first (even before Mom and Dad)
- take complete responsibility for the consequences of what you're doing (again, instead of coming crying to Mom and Dad when you have problems)
- take (together with him) complete responsibility for your life together, and
- make a permanent commitment?
Here's what happens: you get third parties intruding on your relationship and/or a breakup. And when that happens, you find out too late that such things are NOT supposed to happen after you've had sex.
Well, what I described above is the essence of marriage. It not only spares you trouble, but also respects your partner, he knows where he stands with you and can have confidence that he's the most important to you. And it respects the God who will bind you together when you consummate your relationship.
Bottom line: leave father and mother, make permanent, exclusive commitment, and become one flesh. In that order.

For answers like this you need to look inside yourself and decide what fits with what you believe. I believe that sex is okay for anyone whose not too young and who really truly loves each other. But its not okay for those who are just looking to feel better for a few moments. Sex is an expression of love. What do you believe?

Long as it's between two concenting adults it is ok to have sex. Just use protection and be careful and make sure you're having sex for the right reasons.

No, it's not ok to have sex when you're not married. Yes, it is natural, but God didn't create it for single people, He created it just for married people. Your body is a temple and should be saved for your husband, and his body should be saved for you as well.
God Bless

Yes, because it is natural to have sex. Otherwise manhood would die out. And even if the catholic church thinks differently... just priests and popes can't make children....

I THINK ITS OK IF YOU ARE TRUELY DEVOTED TO THIS PERSON. I HAVE A 4 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER, AND ME AND HER DADDY ARE NOT MARRIED BUT I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART. YEAH ITS WRONG IF YOU DONT LOVE THE PERSON. THEN YOURE A SLUT. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
