the teaching of "sin" has done nothing but cause more of it. it's a sin because a bunch of cavemen decided it was.

There are many things that are pointedly called sin in the Bible. We must tell people what these sins are and their need for a Savior (if they are not saved).
If they are a Christian we still need to point out these sins and make sure that they realize their sins, and their need to take care of it.
We can not judge if a person is going to Heaven or Hell because of sins in their lives, because we do not know if they are properly asking God for forgiveness and His help to overcome these sins. It is up to the individual to get that assurance from God.

I think it depends on morals and values...or what you consider ethically correct....A sin is only a sin if you consider it a sin.

you have a point there. And another supporting point i might add is that if somone has ignorantly faith in evil, it's no sin. If evil is done on purpose, then that's another story.....

there is only sin if you believe in sin. if you don't, then you are free to do what you want. interestingly enough, when there are no lines to cross, people generally don't cross them.
