No.The age isn't a problem!!!It's more about how u feel about him,if u think that u like him, like him,age is not a challenge!!!But if u feel more that u like him as a friend, than why do u care about tha age?And it's strange that, first he likes u then he doesn't?!Girl,if u like him, like him go for it and tell him like"Do u wanna go to the movies with me and my friends?"If he says "no"be like"oh,OK,maybe next time?"If he says "yes" girl, don't show like u r sooo happy!be like"it will be fun!"

First , one year is not a big deal. Second, if he's 13 and a boy, he isn't sending you mixed signals. He just doesn't have a clue how to send you the right signals. Finally, if you have just said hi and bye, you are infatuated. Which means, you don't know whether you like him or not, if you haven't met him. You are simply reacting to his physical traits and whatever your ideas of what a perfect guy should act like. He may be a complete sweety, or a complete jerk. I know you probably will dismiss this advice, but your young. Don't get worked up about it. If you see another guy in the meantime, feel free to get to know him too.

age isnt really a bid deal most of thie time, but youre only 14. im not trying to be offensive, but a lot of 14 year olds dont really have good relationships with boys, its just sortof a "omg we're dating" thing. my sister's 14 and she does it ALL the time. plus, boys arent as mature as girls, which is proven, so dating a younger guy really isnt the way to go anyway

If you like the boy, date him. How can just 1 year of age difference be a problem? It doesn't matter if the boy is younger than the girl either. My husband is almost twice my age & we're very happy together. Good luck.

Age aint nothin but a numba! How many people have asked the same question as you. Look, my mom's about one year older than my dad too. And I know this woman that married a guy that's 38 years older than her. He has white hair and won't last too long. They also have a four year old son together. Don't worry! As long as he loves you for you you'll be alright. Trust us.

If you like someone, you like them. His mixed response may be becasue he doesnt know how you feel either.
Friendship, and I hope this is what you are talking about at your age, grows between people irrespective of age.

Im much older than you but I have been out with someone 12 years older and 11 years younger than me!

Noramlly I would say age is nothing but a number but you all are young. When that age it is better to stay with your age group so you can be on the same scene as one another. But maybe 1 year isnt so bad. Like who you like and tell everyone else to be quiet about it.

Your too young to be caring about this, just go and enjoy your summer holiday with the girls. If you forget about him and look like your not interested, you can be sure he will want you (but hopefully you will have realised you have more fun being single with your mates)

the only reason age is a problem is that y'all are both too young to be looking to get serious. :) Live life. I was always tripping over guys when I was younger. Trust me there is so much more out there. :) Good Luck

I don´t think it could be a problem if he is a year younger than you. May be he has not made up his mind yet. Wait till you return from holidays. Who knows?? May be he misses you too.
